The area around Moosewa is known for some of the best native trout populations in Ontario. With the famous Aux Sable River flowing between Big Trout and Lac Aux Sable, there are excellent habitats for speckle trout. There are also many lakes that hold wild or stocked speckles, many reaching trophy size. 5Lb Brook Trout are not uncommon at Moosewa. Guests are often willing to release these trophies, so even bigger monsters will lurk year after year. FISHING With over half a dozen remote lakes accessible from Poupore lake, and several small streams, you can experience a new adventure every day of the week.
